WHAT IS INVISALIGN? 

Treatment with Invisalign is practically an invisible way to straighten your teeth. With the use of advanced 3D computer imaging technology, Invisalign displays your complete treatment plan as prescribed by your Invisalign treatment provider, from the starting position of the teeth to the final  desired position. Then a series of transparent aligners, which will gradually move the teeth, are made exactly to measure for your teeth.

The patient wears each aligner for approximately two weeks; then they are replaced by another in the series, and the teeth gradually move to the intended final position. The treatment time depends on the specific needs of the patient.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Invisalign aligners move teeth through a series of carefully controlled movements. But unlike traditional dental braces, Invisalign not only controls the amount of movement that each aligner takes care of, but also the timing of this movement. Thus, in each phase only some teeth move and the Invisalign treatment schedule is followed for the given phase. The result is a system of efficient use of pressure.
